It’s almost time for the 2019 Leadership Institute (LI)!

In early February, current and aspiring IABC leaders will spending three days connecting and learning how they can continue to grow and improve their chapter or region, while getting professional development that can help their own careers. And it’s not too late for you to join them.

The 2019 LI takes place 7–9 February 2019 at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, California. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other IABC leaders for networking, idea-sharing and leadership development in an amazing location on the water. If you’re thinking about becoming a leader in your chapter or region, LI is a great place to start.

Following the Welcome Reception on Thursday evening, we’ll kick off LI with the celebration of the 2019 Chapter Management Award winners and the recognition of the Chapter and Region Leader of the Year. On Friday, we’re bringing back keynote speaker Cynthia D’Amour, MBA, author of The Lazy Leader’s Guide to Outrageous Events, but this year she will focus on how to design magnetic experiences that keep your members coming back. Long Beach native and mindfulness coach Carina Nickerson will also join us to help us eliminate habits that contribute to martyr leadership.

The cost of the three-day Leadership Institute event is US$199. Hotel room are available at the Hotel Maya while supplies last at a group rate of US$224 per night.
