Volunteering with IABC allows you to meet amazing professionals, share and develop your skills and make a difference to IABC and its members.
Whatever your ability to contribute in terms of time and effort, IABC offers various ways to improve your career, expand your connections and contribute to the profession:
- Career – As a volunteer, you can gain leadership skills and expand your experience in new areas or enhance your skills in areas you have more experience with.
- Connections– Connect with some of the brightest communications professionals from around the world: exchange ideas, learn best practices and build long-lasting relationships.
- Contribute – Your ideas and suggestions fuel and inspire change. You can be an influential part of identifying unmet needs. Be mentored and mentor others through volunteering to fully take advantage of all IABC offers.
What Would Volunteering Look Like?
At the international level:

Join an IABC Committee, Task Force or the International Executive Board.

Become a speaker for a professional development event or Author an article or white paper.
- Be an in-kind sponsor with your video, design, photography or other skills.
At the regional or chapter level:
